How a job runs
You do not need to know what to build or whether AI is the answer. Start by showing me what is happening now and what you would like to improve.
The hard part is understanding the real problem.
A frustrating process can look like a software problem when the cause is an unclear handover, duplicated information or two systems that do not speak to each other. Equally, a team can spend years working around software that genuinely no longer fits. My job is to find the difference and give you a useful route forward.
Four steps
We start with a free consultation
I sit down with the people who understand and run the work day to day. We talk through what has frustrated them, what the business would like to achieve and what happens now. You do not need a plan, a specification or flow charts in advance. This first session costs nothing, and it lets you see how I approach the problem before making any commitment.
I turn it into a plan and roadmap
I identify the underlying problems, the opportunities and the practical options. The roadmap sets out what to tackle first, what can wait, the likely costs and risks, and what a successful result would look like. If the right answer is to leave something alone, I will say so.
You choose how to move forward
You can use the roadmap yourself or ask me to deliver it. The work might simplify a process, connect systems, automate one step, strengthen AI your team is already building or create bespoke software around the business. The scope, price and commercial model are agreed before anything starts.
We prove it, then support what works
Start with the highest-value step and see it working. Larger changes are phased around the live business rather than attempted in one risky cutover. You can buy bespoke software outright with a support package, or use a monthly licence and support subscription where that model fits the build.
The solution takes the shape of the problem
These are all normal outcomes. The consultation and roadmap tell us which one is proportionate.
Improve what you have
Simplify the workflow, connect existing systems or automate one repetitive step. Often this is the quickest and least disruptive way to remove the frustration.
Build around the business
Where generic software cannot sensibly support the use case, I can build focused or core operational software that fits the business like a glove. AI-assisted development makes this far more affordable than traditional bespoke development. How the pricing works →
Strengthen your own AI
If your team is already developing AI systems, I can help make them more robust, controlled and supportable, then provide ongoing cover so your people can focus on running the business.
More than a chatbot
Most AI tools can only answer questions — you still go and do the work yourself. I set AI up to do the work: taking the booking, drafting the reply, building the quote from your own rates, filling in what the system already knows, reading the tender and answering it. It runs to the rules you set as a business, and it's there whenever you need it.
A person on your team approves anything that matters — so you move faster without giving up control.
Safe enough for your real work
The reason your team can use this on the confidential things they'd never put into a public AI tool.
Your data stays yours
Hosted in the cloud or on your own server on site — your choice. The strongest AI models run off-site, and that step can be kept to the UK or EU if you need it. Your data is never used to train anyone’s AI.
A person stays in control
When the AI does something — not just answers, but takes an action — a person on your team approves it first. Nothing happens without sign-off, and every step is recorded.
Private means private
Personal AI conversations are encrypted so that not even an administrator can read them. It’s built into how the platform works, not a promise on a page.
The first step is the one I do with you
Tell me what's slowing your team down and what you're paying for the software they're working around. Talking to me costs nothing.
