When the off-the-peg add-ons aren't enough.

Most engagements start with a conversation. Tell us the problem you're trying to solve, the workflow that's eating your week, the idea you haven't had time to test — we'll talk through what's possible, what isn't, and how we'd approach it.

We don't charge for that conversation. Bounce ideas off us any time. We only charge once you ask us to build something.

You bring the vision. We bring the build.

You don't need to arrive with a specification. Most of our customers aren't system architects, and we don't think it's fair to ask them to be. We've seen too many projects where a developer builds exactly what the customer asked for, the result doesn't actually solve the problem, and the customer gets blamed for writing the wrong spec.

Our job is to solve the problem in the most effective way for you. You describe the outcome you want; we figure out the right shape for the solution, talk it through with you, and build it.

Start small, go for the low-hanging fruit.

The biggest mistake we see is teams trying to plan everything up front. It's often the approach favoured by hourly consultancies — the longer the scoping, the bigger the invoice — but in our experience you get much better results by picking one focused problem, shipping a solution, and iterating from there. Confidence builds with each result, and you quickly learn where the next bit of leverage lives.

Pricing

£97/hour for build work. Because we use modern AI tooling, we get a lot done in an hour compared with traditional development — small problems are often resolved in a single sitting, and an idea you've been kicking around for months can be in your hands within a week.
